Welcome to découverterre — an exploration of culture, media, aesthetics, and adventures for (and from) the independent spirit. This is my outlet for all things creative. I coined the word ‘découverterre’ as a mash-up of two french words, ‘découvrerte’ (meaning ‘discovered’) and ‘terre’ (meaning ‘earth’). These are my experiences with and explorations into the world around me.
I am a 2010 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I majored in History and Human Geography. Following graduation, my boyfriend and I packed up and moved to the Florida Keys, where we live on a boat and hold down day jobs in the service industry. In addition to blogging, I also pursue freelance and creative writing and photography. I am also educating myself on internet and social media marketing, and hope to purse a career in the field when our time in Key West in done.
If you have any comments or questions, or are interested in my work, please do not hesitate to email me at decouverterre [at] gmail [dot] com.

I love the bra in the last picture. Can’t seem to find it anywhere on the site though … anyone seen it?? would love to purchase whether I won or not!
That is the Huit is Biotiful organic bamboo bralette, which is coming soon (within the next month or so) and we would be happy to let you know when it arrives. Just email us at info@lilleboutique.com with your contact info and size, and we’ll be sure to follow up. Thanks for your interest!
Warm Regards,
Sarah
